Ubbo-Emmius-Gymnasium

Ubbo-Emmius-Gymnasium, a grammar school, has ca. 100 staff and 1,400 students, aged 10 to 19, from a catchment area encompassing the city of Leer (34,000 inhabitants) and the rural area round it. Our pupils have a choice between a regular or a profile-oriented syllabus; currently this is science- or music-based, and the option of attending bilingual geography and biology lessons. We have exchange programmes with schools in Evreux (France), Tonglu (China), Caldas da Rainha (Portugal), and Leeuwarden (the Netherlands).

Our school is located in Noto, a baroque Unesco heritage town in the south east corner of Sicily. Noto has 24,000 inhabitants, and its geographical area makes it the largest Sicilian heritage town and the fourth largest in Italy.

Agrupamento de Escolas D. João II

Our school is located in a town called Caldas da Rainha, 80 kms north from Lisbon. The town was founded in the 16th century by Rainha Dona Leonor (Queen Leonor), who established a hospital and a church at the site of some thermal hot springs. The Hospital Termal Rainha D. Leonor (Queen Leonor Spring Water Hospital, or Thermal Hospital) is the oldest purpose-built institution of its kind in the world, with five centuries of history.

Arsakeio Gymnasium Thessalonikis

Arsakeio Junior High School of Thessaloniki is one of 34 Arsakeia Schools administered by the Society for the Promotion of Education and Learning, the oldest educational, non-profitable organization in Greece, established in 1836. At present, the Society for the Promotion of Education and Learning is the largest educational foundation in Greece.

Colegiul National "Iosif Vulcan"

"Iosif Vulcan" National College is an elite public educational institution with 235 years of experience, with currently 1,600 students aged 5-19 and a staff of 105. We boast some most modern facilities and frequently rank high in numerous competitions in subjects as Literature, Mathematics, Geography, English, Spanish, Art, Music, Dance, and Drama. Our school is involved in numerous extracurricular and volunteership schemes ("Eco School Award" in 2012 for environmental initiatives).
